PTO Board Treasurer – JOEY TRUDEAU  (Picture – tba)

As a father to two daughters (a sixth grader at Bowie MS and a Kindergartner at Neill ES), I feel it is essential to be involved in their education and help the community we all are part of in some way. A 10-year veteran of the US Navy, I have served my nation both abroad during Operation Enduring Freedom following 9/11, and domestically training over 200 officers and sailors safe operations of our nation’s nuclear propulsion fleet of aircraft carriers and submarines.  I continued my career in adult education the past 14-years, teaching more than 400 trainees commercial nuclear power plant operations.  I am currently the Licensed Operator Training Supervisor at South Texas Project Nuclear Power Plant, 80 miles Southwest of Richmond, overseeing 16 instructors, 40 trainees and a multi-million dollar budget that interfaces with all facets of training and operations activities.  Outside of my professional career, I make time to be involved in Scouts and other community service opportunities in the South Texas region. As a treasurer and executive board member, I  hope to provide insight, influence, and a differing point of view based on my diverse history and experiences.  I look forward to contributing my time and effort in the hopes of helping our community of educators, parents, and most of all, our students.

PTO Board Major Fundraising Chair – OSCAR SAENZ (Picture – tba)

My name is Oscar Saenz. I am the proud parent of a Neill ES first grader and soon to be twin kindergarteners. My wife and I fell in love with the Harvest Green community in early 2018 and decided to make it our home. We have been blessed with wonderful neighbors, a set of new friends, and a place where our children can make their own childhood memories.

As a product of the Texas K-12 school system, I am a passionate advocate for public education. In the past 20 years, I’ve worked all over Texas with multiple ISDs and have helped FBISD’s leadership meet District goals. I look forward to applying my experience to this role and helping our school provide an optimal learning experience for our children.
