Every month there will be a fruit or vegetable selected as the Harvest of the Month. The Harvest of the Month will be on your school cafeteria menus. We explore our harvest this month with grapefruit! Cafeteria menus feature recipes for Tropical Greek Yogurt Breakfast Bowl and Four Citrus Herb Chicken, both sound like winners! Samples will be passed out after Spring Break on March 21. A great way to enjoy grapefruit is by broiling it. You can smear some on butter and then add the brown sugar for a delicious treat!
